    Of curved form, engraved and chased with hatched ground, the central panel of decoration with central flowerhead within a strapwork cartouche flanked by confronted lions on a foliate ground, around this a naskh inscription, with trilobed knops above and below and a suspension loop on either end

    The inscription reads:
    In the top band: al-'izz al-da'im al-iqbal al-dawla wa al-baqa li-sahibihi (Glory, Prosperity, Wealth and Long-life to its owner), while the lower part is repetition of: al-'izz al-da'im al-iqbal wa al-dawla (Glory, Prosperity, Wealth).
