The armour with a sixty-four plate iron suji-kabuto [ridged helmet] with mark 'Jo', peak with gilt fukurin [edging], the iron menpo [face mask] with detachable nose signed Muneaki (Myochin Muneaki), yodare-kake [bib] of two tiers of hon-kozane [individual laced scales], two tier nodowa [gorget], gilt kuwagata-dai pierced and carved with chrysanthemums, gilt metal kuwagata [stylized horn crests], the maedate [forecrest] of a gilt wooden dragon, a manju-jikoro [rounded neck guard] of three tiers of hon-kozane, the odoshi-do [laced cuirass] and all major pieces of hon-kozane, including the sode [shoulder guards], the cuirass of alternating leather and iron pieces, juni ko-shino-gote [twelve-piece small iron splint sleeves], close-laced iyo-haidate [thigh protector], iron nine-splint shino sune-ate [shin guards], fur shoes, all lacing predominantly orange colour, and with a plurality of gold mitsu-domoe [triple comma] mon on the shikoro, fukigaeshi, yodare-kake, nodowa, sode, cuirass, kote, kusazuri, lacquered wood armour box
