The quatrain found here itself praises the hand of the scribe. It is signed as "the needy Mir 'Ali", and is likely to be by Mir 'Ali Heravi. The quatrain is probably by him as well. He is reported as being a poet and has praised his hand in another poem also copied by him in the Gulshan Album in the Gulistan Palace Library in Tehran.
