    Mehmed Hulusi Efendi was trained by some of the most famous Ottoman calligraphers - Hasan Husni, Carsambi Arif Bey and Sami Efendi. Examples of his work decorated the inside of the Sultan Selim and Sultan Ahmet mosques in Istanbul
