Qur'an XXVIII, Sura Al-Qasas and Qur'an XXIV, Sura Al-Aukabut, vv. 1-part of 45,manuscript on vellum, 82ff. plus 1 fly-leaf, each folio with 5ll. of sepia maghribi, letter pointing in sepia and vocalisation in red, tashdid and sukkun in green and blue and hamzas in yellow, gold rosette verse markers within blue outlines, sura headings in white angular kufic within gold panels with edges of interlacing strapwork which issue roundels containing arabesques into the margins, opening carpet page with square panel composed of strapwork border and containing geometric motifs and issuing a similar roundel into the borders, trimmed, areas of staining, first few folios coming out of binding, in brown morocco binding
