    ASHENDENE PRESS -- BOCCACCIO, Giovanni (1313-1375). Il Decameron. Chelsea: Ashendene Press, 1920. 2° (410 x 280mm). The title of Proemio, introduction and headings of each "Giornata" printed in blue capitals, those of the "Novelle" and shoulder-notes in red, large blue initials at beginning of each "Novella" specially designed by Graily Hewitt. Contemporary white pigskin by Zaehnsdorf, gilt title on spine, uncut (extremities lightly rubbed).
