    8° (258 x 178mm). Woodcuts throughout by Klot, Deriker and Nedelgorst after Timm, Shchodrovskii and Shevchen. (Some spotting and browning, occasional light soiling.) Contemporary half-calf preserving the original illustrated front cover, flat spine tooled with arabesque design, green morocco label lettered in gilt (front wrapper repaired, front cover detached, rubbed). Provenance: 'Michael Oustinoff' (19th-century inscription) -- Paul M. Fekula.

    FIRST EDITION. RARE. The Fekula copy with the original front wrapper and the original frontispiece engraved by Deriker after Timm. Vereschagin remarks that this richly illustrated work became rare soon after publication. Each of the seven sections is complete with its own divisional title and introductory frontispiece, most after drawings by Timm.
