    Helps and Hints How to protect Life and Property. London: T. Hurst, 1835. 8°, wood-engraved title vignette after G. Cruikshank, 2 folding lithographic plates including frontispiece, 4 etched plates by George and 3 by Robert Cruikshank, one engraved plate by A. Adlard after the author, wood-engraved illustrations, 3 after G. Cruikshank (lithographs spotted), original green cloth, uncut and largely unopened (corners bumped), later quarter blue morocco slipcase. PRESENTATION COPY, title inscribed: "To the Editor of the Naval & Military Gazette with the compliments of the Author". FIRST EDITION of this all-round sporting book, the title-page stating that "the embellishments" are "by Mr. Bonner and others, after designs by G. and R. Cruikshank, Alken, Haghe, Fussell, and De Berenger". Cohn George Cruikshank 70; Schwerdt II, p. 125.
