Typed letter signed ('W') to Pamela, Countess of Lytton, 28 Hyde Park Gate, 1 March 1951, sending examples (not present) of the year's 'American Christmas cards', which have sold 2 million copies, and complaining of 'an unexpectedly violent reaction to a penicillin injection', which has given him 'a dreadful night with pain and a swollen face', one page, 4to. Provenance: Pamela, Countess of Lytton; and by descent.
