DEMIDOV, Anatolii, Prince of San Donato -- DURAND, André. Album du Voyage Pittoresque et Archéologique en Russie. Paris: Ernest Bourdin [c. 1848].

2° (552 X 360mm). Title with lithographed vignette, list of plates, and 100 tinted lithographed views after Durand. (Occasional scattered spotting, mostly in the first few plates, light wear in a few margins.) Unbound sheets.

ONE OF THE EARLIEST SURVEYS OF RUSSIAN ARCHITECTURE. A rare album of fine views, chiefly of buildings in St. Petersburg, Moscow, Nizhni-Novgorod, and Kazan. ABPC apparently records no copy selling at auction in over 30 years.
