Original pictorial blue-green paper boards (spine restored preserving much of the original backstrip, lightly rubbed); cloth folding case. Provenance: Kenyon Starling (bookplate).

    FIRST EDITION. Wrongly attributed to Charles Dickens who in fact wrote a repost to Caswall's work entitled Sketches of Young Gentlemen in 1838 (see next lot). Not at Yale/Gimbel; Kitton, p.65.
