Original blue blind-stamped diagonally ribbed cloth, spine gilt, uncut (hinges cracked, some minor rubbing). Provenance: Hon. C.F. Stuart (armorial bookplate); Alain de Suzannet (bookplate; his sale Sotheby's London, 22 November 1971, lot 70); Kenyon Starling (bookplate).
