An order to the Clerk of the Works not to employ the 'carpentiers masons and other artificers' currently in the service of Thomas Colt, lest he 'hurt or retarde the Warke of the said Thomas as ye Wol avoid our displeas[u]r'.

Edward spent considerable sums on building works at Queensborough and Fotheringhay from 1463, but his great building endeavours (St George's Chapel at Windsor and the Great Hall at Eltham) were begun only towards the end of his reign.
