(Lacks the portrait, some light spotting and offsetting throughout.) Mixed editions, comprising: part I: 2nd edition, 1805; part II: 1st edition, 1st issue, 1760; part III: 2nd edition, 1806, but with 1st edition, 1st issue titles dated 1764 [Lisney 207, 208 and 212/211 respectively].
Together two works by Edwards in 7 volumes, 4° (288 x 226mm). Uniform early 19th-century straight-grained blue morocco gilt, double fillet and roll tool borders, gilt spines and turn-ins, marbled endpapers, gilt edges (lightly rubbed). Provenance: John Arden (bookplates, dated 1819 in ms) -- Battle Abbey (library label in 1st vol).
