REMINDING THE USA OF 'THE JEWISH SUFFERING IN EUROPE'. Einstein compliments the recipient on the development of a venture, from which money arrives from time to time ('Es tröpfelt immer von Zeit zu Zeit Dollars') which Einstein forwards to the National Coordinating Committee in Aid for Refugees -- though the consequences are 'not exactly overwhelming' in Einstein's view. 'It is however a good thing if many who live relatively peacefully here are directly reminded of the Jewish suffering in Europe [Es ist übrigens gut, wenn Viele, die heir relativ ruhig leben, an die jüdische Misere in Europa direkt erinnern werden]'.
