    4° (347 x 260mm). Illustrated throughout, after B. Zvorykin, I. Polushkin, Count V. Muraviev, P. Orlov and others. (Dampstain in the last few leaves.) Original white illustrated cloth, front cover with the cipher of Alexander II in gilt, white moiré silk endpapers, gilt edges (covers detached, spine ends chipped, light soiling, dampstain on lower cover). Provenance: ?Grand Duke Aleksandr Mikhailovich (binding, stamp) -- Committee of Naval Excursions (stamp) -- Paul M. Fekula.

    FIRST EDITION. A COPY WITH ELITE PROVENANCE IN A DELUXE BINDING of cream-coloured cloth, rather than the usual blue, and with white moiré silk endpapers and gilt edges. The Fekula copy. A stamp on the verso of the front endpaper notes that the sale proceeds of this publication are to benefit the educational endeavours of the Committee of Naval Excursions, which was led by Grand Duke Aleksandr Mikhailovich.
