    8° (249 x 175mm). Folding chromolithographed map. (Light browning in text margins.) Contemporary green morocco, sides ruled with gilt filets and fleur-de-lys tools, front cover lettered in gilt with contents all within a gilt fillet frame, gilt inner dentelles and white moiré silk endpapers (light rubbing). Provenance: Grand Duke Vladimir Aleksandrovich (bookplate, binding) -- Paul M. Fekula.

    FIRST EDITION. GRAND DUKE VLADIMIR ALEKSANDROVICH'S COPY, IN A HANDSOME BINDING of green morocco with white silk endpapers, possibly a presentation binding. Gol'mstrem's survey covers the Russian Far East, Tibet, Mongolia and Japan. Fekula 2409 (this copy); cf. Cordier Sinica 2515.
