12° (141 x 71mm). 72 leaves, all engraved, most containing two illustrations of ships or cannon, many with contemporary hand-colouring. (Light worming throughout, causing slight loss to title and loss to two lines of dedication on title verso, also affecting a few flags, colour occasionally smudged, final leaves lightly soiled, one with clean tear below text.) Contemporary calf (joints splitting, corners worn). Adams & Waters 1890.
