[London? 1715?]. 12° (142 x 74mm). 72 leaves (10 in facsimile), all engraved, most containing two illustrations of ships or cannons, many with contemporary colouring. (Title, dedication and 7 other leaves in facsimile, soiling and staining throughout, colour occasionally smudged, two leaves cut with loss, one with hole not affecting flags.) Contemporary calf (front joint splitting, corners bumped). Provenance: George Page, William Page (repeated signatures) -- D.M. Fyffe (bookplate). A RARE SIGNALS BOOK, on-line ESTC recording 2 copies in the UK and 6 in the US. Adams & Waters 1890.
