Second edition, the first of four collections of designs for large farm houses and parsonages intended to appeal to 'gentlemen of middling fortune'. Scarcer than the first edition, ESTC recording 4 copies, all in North America. Archer 138.1; Harris 319; cf. BAL/RIBA 1452.
