    INCUNABULA -- BRUNUS ARETINUS, Leonardus (1369-1444). De bello Italico adversus Gothos gesto. [Venice:] Nicolas Jenson, [before July] 1471. Royal 4° in half-sheets (244 x 174mm). Roman type. Major decorated initials decorated in the ?17th century, headings highlighted in red, coat-of-arms added in pen-and-ink. (Repairs at margins, last leaf lower margin replaced, washed.) A reimboitage of early 16th-century blind- and gold-tooled calf over wooden boards, fore-edge clasps. Provenance: early annotations (trimmed) - coat-of-arms on 1/2r.
