    FIRST EDITION IN ENGLISH, translated and abridged from Lettres edifiantes et curieuses a Paris, 1711-13. The text consists of 22 letters, 3 are of American interest: "Abridgement of a Spanish Relation, concerning the New Mission of the Moxos, in America;" "A letter from Father Marest to Father de Lamberville, procurator of the Missions of Canada, concerning the French Settlement at Hudson's Bay...
