    1 page, 4to, on imprinted stationery of the Ebenezer Baptist Church. With a fine blue ink signature. Paperclip mark, otherwise in very fine condition. With original typed envelope.

A brief but thoughtful response to a supporter, penned at a critical point in the Civil Rights movement; in April, King had led the Birmingham protests against segregation, touching off violent resistance.
