KRUCHENYKH, Aleksei (author) and Il'ia ZDANEVICH (designer). Lakirovannoe triko. [Lacquered Tights]. Tbilisi: 41°, 1919.

8° (203 x 151mm). Printed on salmon-pink paper. Typographic designs throughout. Original paper covers with typographic design (spine and one front-cover tear repaired with clear tape, small chips at the extremities.)

FIRST EDITION. AN APPARENTLY UNRECORDED VARIANT differing substantially from examples in the MoMA and Modernism Inc. catalogues: this copy printed on coloured paper and with the cover design repeated in two tones and at an angle, in a manner similar to the design for Milliork. The edition consists of approximately 250 copies only. RARE: ABPC records no copy of either variant sold at auction in over 30 years. Not in the British Library. In the USA WorldCat adds only the copy at Stanford to that in the MoMA. Modernism Inc., 41°, 46; MoMA, The Russian Avant-Garde Book, p.125.
