    LONGUS. Poimenikon ton kata Daphnin kai Chloen, biblia tettara [graecè]. Longi pastoralium de Daphnide et Chloe libri quatuor, edited by Petrus Moll. Franeker: J. Arcer, 1669. 4° (200 x 146mm). Title printed in red and black, title and text in Greek and Latin, EXTRA-ILLUSTRATED with 27 plates from the Paris, 1714 edition called 'l'édition du Régent', plates engraved by B. Audran after Philippe le Régent, duc d'Orléans, without (as often) the last plate entitled 'Les petits pieds'. Contemporary English red morocco, gilt crest in compartments of spine with black label, gilt border round sides composed of small flower-tools, tupils, pointillé of dots, etc. enclosing a large diamond made up of small tools, gilt edges, gilt turn-ins (head of spine chipped, joints and corners rather worn, slight signs of wear on front cover).

Rooks, 1677. 8°, Engraved portrait, frontispiece and 29 full-page engravings in the text (signature torn from head of title, fore-margin of G3 shaved with very light loss of text, a little staining, O2-7 loose). Early 18th-century panelled calf (rebacked). Provenance: Gabriel Fenwick, 1926 (name and address on recto of portrait). This edition not in Wing. (2)
