Engraved title and 22 engraved double-page maps, all coloured in a contemporary hand. (Without the portrait found in some copies, maps 7 and 11 trimmed close at bottom edge, just into plate mark, light spotting, browning and soiling throughout, the 6 index leaves at the end heavily affected.) Late 19th-century vellum with marbled-paper endpapers (extremities lightly rubbed and soiled). Provenance: Luigi Defilippi (tiny booklabel to verso f.f.e.p.) -- Antiquariat Bourlot (Turin bookseller's label to front pastedown).
