Frankfurt: Caspar Merian, 1655-1661 [but 1665]. 13 parts in 4 vols, 4° (331 x 197mm). 9 engraved additional titles and 321 engraved plates, comprising views, plans and maps, some folding. (Occasional browning, worm-hole in the margins of a very few leaves, a very few borders just shaved by the binder's knife.) Contemporary sheep, spines gilt, edges sprinkled red (rubbed and scuffed with some surface loss, two spine ends chipped). Provenance: Julius Erhard Karl Hoerle, Frankfurt (title signatures).
