    Poetry, with the Diwan of Jami as the main text and the Tuhfat al-Ahrar, Subhat al-Abrar, Yusuf wa Zulaykha, Layla wa Majnun and Iskandarnama in the margins, Persian manuscript on ivory paper, 398ff. plus 3 fly-leaves, each folio with 19ll. of tight black nasta'liq arranged in two columns with double gold intercolumnar rules, further text written on the diagonal around the main text, titles in blue, gold and red naskh, opening folio with fine gold and polychrome illuminated headpiece, preceding page with large gold and polychrome shamsa, five further similarly illuminated panels of various sizes within the text, with seven contemporary miniatures illustrating the text in the margins, colophon signed Muhammad ibn 'Abd al-Razzaq Tabib and three dates throughout the text of 20 Jumada al-Thani 931, 26 Rajab 932, and Dhu'l Qa'da 932, some folios loose in binding, some miniatures slightly smudged, minor staining, with one contemporaneous Ottoman brown morocco board with central stamped medallion and spandrels and doublure with central decoupé medallion and stamped spandrels, worn
