Arabic manuscript on paper, 443ff., as numbered plus 2 fly-leaves, each folio with 10ll. of black naskh, gold and polychrome verse markers, sura headings in white naskh on gold ground within illuminated panel, some of them on gold naskh on blue ground, marginal medallions with polychrome floral sprays on blue ground within gold frame, opening bifolio with elegant illumination with foliage and half-palmettes on gold and blue grounds, the text panels with 5ll. of gold naskh outlined with black on cloud-bands reserved on gold and polychrome ground, each line with the Persian translation below in tiny blue nasta'liq, some repairs and very slight staining, in brown morocco with stamped and gilt decoration, rubbed
