    Arabic manuscript on paper, 303ff. plus 4 fly-leaves, each folio with 17ll. of black naskh, the oval text panels within gold illuminated borders, gold and polychrome rosette verse markers, sura headings in white naskh in gold illuminated panels, illuminated marginal medallions, catchwords, the opening bifolio with extensive floral illumination on gold ground, the fatiha and the first page of sura al-baqara in clouds on gold ground, the colophon within an almond-shaped medallion on gold speckled ground followed by prayers, in original gilt morocco binding with purple doublures, good condition
