Original blue cloth, front covers blocked in silver, spines gilt (spines worn, spine of vol. II with adhesive tape repair along joints). PRESENTATION COPY, front free endpaper inscribed: "To H.R. Falkner Esq with the author's kindest regards and appreciation of his many kindnesses", signed and dated Christmas 1913. FIRST EDITION. (2)
