Commemoration of the Visit of the English Cricketers to Australia 1861-2. Original poster design in gouache, watercolour and pen on paper, subscribed: "Heny Marshall Esqre President" and "W.B. Burrup Esqre, Hon Sec", title lettering in various colours with flourished opening initial and foliate decoration, the title enclosed by an oval ribbon with cricket trophies and world globe at head bearing the legend: "England versus Australia Let Cricket Flourish All the World Around", the ribbon filled with medallions giving the names of the England team and their sponsors, Surrey Cricket Club and Spiers and Pond, in gold, silver and black on various coloured grounds, at foot a smaller ribbon with the names of the opposing teams, and a larger medallion listing "Scores All England v Australia", with creditation: "Illuminated by J.G. Attwood", 930 x 620mm. (browning to blank areas, some damage to margins).

A UNIQUE WORK OF CRICKET ART, commemorating the first ever tour to Australia, led by Heathfield Harman Stephenson. The named players are: H. Stephenson, W. Caffyn, T. Sewell, G. Bennett, T. Hearne, E. Stephenson, and G. Griffiths, W. Mortlock, W. Mudie, G. Wells, C. Lawrence and R. Iddison. The medallions also give each player's accumulated total of runs.
