A note on the verso of the title-page reads: 'These stories were originally intended to follow 'Rosa Alchemica' in 'The Secret Rose'. Wade 24.

Yeats (endpapers spotted with some separation at gutters, neat single-line ink inscription in Irish on half-title). Publisher's blue green-cloth (discoloured at edges). Dublin Edition, comprising the sheets of the original English edition (Lawrence & Bullen, 1897) with a replacement title and a four-page catalogue of Maunsel titles at rear. Wade 23. (2)
