    The case of typical form, the arched hood with pierced soundfret and columns flanking the door, canted angels, the trunkdoor, sides and plinth base with raised moulded panels painted with landscapes and festoons, green glass 'bulls-eye' to the trunkdoor, circular lenticle to each side, brass dial with foliate mask spandrels to pewter chapter ring with engraved centre, ringed winding holes and date aperture above VI, the arch with signature roundel signed H.J.
