    The bell top with patinated (later) brass ball finials above a rectangular hood with glazed side panels and glazed front door on a bracket with a serpentine shaped skirt, the 17.5 cm. (7 in.) square brass dial with matted centre, foliate cast mask spandrels to the Roman chapter ring with fleur-de-lys half hour markers, matted centre with signature plaque signed Abraham Oofterwijk/Middelburgh (probably later), single pierced blued steel hand and engraved brass alarm disc, the thirty-hour movement with four rectangular brass pillars, verge escapement with integral back swinging pendulum, outside countwheel with hour strike on bell above, the alarm work mounted to the side of the movement (possibly reinstated); three brass weights
