    COMPARATIVE LITERATURE:
George White, English Lantern Clocks, Woodbridge, pp.296-297.

Probably the Robert Ward recorded in London circa 1751-1775.
Clocks were made for export to the Ottoman Empire from the first quarter of the 18th century to the first quarter of the 19th century. Such clocks did not evolve in the same way that other English clocks did; for example, the verge escapement was retained until the very end. Two hands were also commonly used.
