    A German small engraved gilt-brass hexagonal table clock with quarter repeat and date indication
    Wilhelm Koberle, Eichstadt. Early 18th Century
    The case with engraved upper border, the hinged underside with six toupie feet and fitted with a bell secured with a strap, the dial with white enamel Roman chapter ring and foliate engraved centre with date aperture, two gilt-metal hands, the one day movement with hexagonal plates joined by four vase-shaped back-pinned pillars, chain and fusee with verge balance wheel escapement, four arm steel balance with hairspring regulated by a silvered disc to the side and with pierced and engraved cock, worm and wheel set up to the barrel, repeating via via side button with two mask-engraved hammers on the bell in the base, the back plate fully engraved with foliate scrolls and signed Wilhalm Koberle Eüc
