Evgenia Solomonovna Mantseva, born Poliak, was the sister of Elisaveta Solomonovna Poliak, an amateur artist and friend of Somov.
It's already the second week that I have been working on a portrait of a woman - Lisa's sister. After two days working with pastel I began to paint in oil.
