raised on a pierced base with flaring sides and wide flat rim, decorated in thickly applied coloured enamels with scenes of ladies playing musical instruments listened by two boy attendants, a dignitary being served tea, a dancing lady with admirer and a lady with companions in a fenced garden -- 7¾in. (19.7cm.) wide.
