    The breakfront-shaped bleu turquin marble top above a conforming frieze applied with scrolling grapevines and Bacchic motifs and set with three drawers, above three panelled doors each opening to a single shelf, the sides with similar panels, the angles with stop-fluted columns, on toupie feet, the carcass stamped F. DURAND.FILS

    Frédéric-Louis Durand, son of Gervais-Maximilien-Eugène Durand, collaborated with his father and ultimately succeeded him in 1920. He is recorded as having worked at 8 rue du Petit-Musée until 1933 when he moved to 10 rue des Lions.
