Designed in robust Grecian fashion with plinth-supported and reed-wrapped pillars, the library-table resembles an aggrandised George IV 'Davenport' desk, as it incorporates a drawer-chest, whose façade presents a recess flanked by trompel'oeil nest of 'dressing-table' drawers.
