    The recessed panneling of the frame of this window seat is typical of the designs of Friedrich Gotlob Hoffman, they were found both in Dresden and Leipzig. For chairs with comparable frames see G. Haase Dresdener Möbel des 18. Jahrhundert, Leipzig, 1993, pp. 342-345, pl. 231-240.
