    A similar chest in Lincoln's Inn presented in 1549 by it's then Treasurer is illustrated in Fred Roe, A History of Oak Furniture, London, 1920, plate XX; and another in Ralph Edwards, The Dictionary of English Furniture, London, 1954, Vol II, p.8, fig.16.
