    The stepped spreading pediment inset with three brocatelle violette de Jura marble tops, above a guilloche frieze and central cupboard door applied with a dancing muse over a pair of caryatids, the curved sides each centred by a ribbon-tied medallion cast in relief with amorous couples, the fluted angles headed with espagnolette busts, on short tapering legs

    The central cupboard door designs on this lot and 330 draw inspiration from silk wall hangings from Lyons, France, an example of which was exhibited at the 1876 Philadelphia exhibition. (see J. Meyer, Great Exhibitions: 1851-1900, Woodbridge, 2006, p. 230.)
