    Each elaborately carved with asymmetrical rocaille acanthus, flowerheads, trailing vines, eagles, stylised dolphins and rockwork, the serpentine verde antico marble top above a pierced foliate apron on scrolled volute legs joined by an 'X'-shaped stretcher centred by a pierced foliate cartouche surmounted by an eagle attacking a sea monster

    These console tables are after the Genoese example formerly at Wimbourne House, London, and now in the collection of the Victoria & Albert Museum.
    Please note that further examination has revealed that they are thought to date from the mid-20th century as opposed to last quarter 19th century.
