    First half 19th century, probably Tuscany
    Each with a rectangular medici breccia top, the breakfront frieze centred by a stylised carved flower flanked by recessed panels with ribbon-tied reeds above turned tapering and fluted legs headed by conforming floral paterae terminating in gadrooned feet

    The ribbon-tied reed motif of the frieze of these consoles tables is closely related to a Tuscan console table in the 'Quartiere d'Inverno' of Palazzo Pitti in Florence. (M. Chiarini and S. Padovani, Gli Appartamenti Reali di Palazzo Pitti, Florence, 1993, p. 107, fig. 11.)
