    Each with an arched and chanelled toprail centred with a foliate cartouche, the carving mirrored in the curved apron and scrolling arm terminals, on foliate headed cabriole legs, the seat rails stamped 'L. POUSSIEE' (2)

    Louis Poussie/ae or Poussier received Master before 1737, as he does not appear in the records after this date. He collaborated with his colleague at this time, Etienne Saint-Georges, before opening his own atelier where he only worked for around twelve years.
