S. Eriksen, Early Neo-classicism in France, pl. 238).
Further related pairs of lavender-ground Chinese porcelain vases with water-lily decoration include a pair formerly in the collection of Madame de Polès, sold at Christie's, Monaco, 20 June 1992, lot 58 (FF532,800), and another, sold from the Alexander Collection, Christie's, New York, 30 April 1999, lot 13 ($55,200) and illustrated in G. & R.
