The plinth-supported Grecian caryatic vestals, are conceived in the French fashion, and support palm-wreathed bases, possibly for a colza-lamp urn and branches. They bear the brand of T[imothy?] Smith & Sons, who were probably the firm of Birmingham Brass Founders recorded in Bartholomew Street in the mid-19th century.
