    This table's paterae-enriched pilasters are raised on Grecian-scrolled feet formed as inverted temple-acroteria, as adopted by Thomas Hope for foot-rests at his Duchess Street mansion/museum (T. Hope, Household Furniture and Interior Decoration, 1807, pl. 11, no. 2).
